How driftminessd came to be
driftminessd was founded in Bangkok in 2021 by a small group of data scientists and engineers who had spent years working inside large technology firms across Southeast Asia. They noticed a recurring pattern: organizations were eager to adopt AI, but the conversations around it were often noisy, unclear, and full of pressure to act before thinking.
The founding team wanted to offer something different — a practice built around careful listening, honest assessment, and practical outcomes. The name "driftminessd" reflects this philosophy: the idea that meaningful insight often emerges not from force, but from allowing the mind to settle and observe, much like ink drifting across water before it takes its final shape.
Today, driftminessd works with organizations across Thailand — from small businesses exploring their first AI project to established companies maintaining production models. Our team remains intentionally small, which allows us to give genuine attention to every client we take on.
We believe that artificial intelligence should serve the people who use it, not the other way around. Every engagement we undertake begins with a simple question: does this actually make sense for your situation? If the answer is no, we say so. That honesty is central to who we are.
